Dyspepsia

Dyspepsia (sometimes identified as digestive disorders) is a set of symptoms. It can involve pain in the upper abdomen or discomfort that appear to come from the upper gastrointestinal tract. Dyspepsia may also contain one or more of the following symptoms: heartburn, regurgitation of food or acid eructation (burps) excessive, increased abdominal bloating, nausea, feeling of abnormal or slow digestion, early satiety. The term "dyspepsia" is often used to describe gastrointestinal symptoms whose cause is obscure.

Some people manage to prevent dyspepsia by identifying and avoiding foods that are difficult to digest, eating more slowly and avoiding stress as much as possible. Others need treatment with drugs such as inhibitors of the proton pump or histamine H 2, which reduce production of stomach acid.
